1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or paying an invoice with Koda Print Studio, the Customer agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all custom manufacturing and retail purchases.

2. Custom Design Specifications

  • Production Fidelity: Custom parts are manufactured precisely from the design files (e.g., STL, OBJ) provided by the Customer.

  • File Responsibility: Koda Print Studio is not liable for functional failure, structural defects, or inaccuracies resulting from errors within the Customer-provided digital files.

  • Technical Variations: 3D printing is an additive process; slight aesthetic variations, layer line textures, or minor surface imperfections are inherent to the technology and do not constitute defects.

3. Refund & Return Policy (Strictly Enforced)

  • Custom Orders: As custom 3D printed items are manufactured to unique specifications, they are non-refundable.

  • Final Acceptance: Upon the Customer’s acceptance of progress images or final product photos sent via digital communication, the order is considered final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted following this stage.

  • Retail Products: Standard retail items (e.g., stock controller stands) may only be returned if they arrive damaged, provided Koda Print Studio is notified within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Customer Warranty: By providing a design file, the Customer represents and warrants that they own the intellectual property rights or have obtained all necessary licenses to reproduce the design.

  • Indemnification: The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Koda Print Studio harmless from any legal claims, damages, or liabilities arising from copyright or patent infringement related to the Customer's provided files.

  • Studio Assets: All original designs created by Koda Print Studio remain the exclusive intellectual property of the studio.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Fit for Purpose: Unless a specific technical tolerance was agreed upon in writing, all parts are provided "as-is". Koda Print Studio offers no warranty regarding the fitness of a part for a particular mechanical or high-stress application.

  • Maximum Liability: The total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific part in question.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Risk of Loss: Koda Print Studio is not responsible for delays or damages caused by third-party courier services.

  • Fulfillment: Orders are processed and shipped from our studio in Randburg, Gauteng.
